Nothing changes for the 2nd until the court applies "Strict" scrutiny to all "Rights"... Otherwise the selective application of how strict to enforce those Rights leaves it all to game play!

That’s that lefts line albeit they have a different meaning then you do since the left believes it can mean whatever they want it to based off of what they feel or believe today while we and I believe you fall back on original intent. The amendment process is a tough hill to climb as you know for a good reason to prevent knee jerk asshats from destroying it all overnight. Marriage is a socioeconomic institution based on a contract enforced by the government's power of law. It has nothing to do with big government as it was the same way during the founding of the Republic and many centuries before that.
I have yet to see anyone being dragged kicking and screaming to man/woman wedding ceremony, but I see a lot of people sticking their nose into my married lifestyle by trying to redefine the relationship I entered years ago. Have a relationship with a tree if that's what makes you happy, but don't amend the definition of mine.
