They state that “if ever there were a time to do so, now would be it,” and insist that if the president “is not competent to stand trial, then he is certainly not competent to lead the free world.

This was undoubtedly conceived by the lawfare group. Both Biden and trump had classified documents. So they couldn't just blatantly say Biden is innocent. So they just say he is too incompetent to stand trial. Then the Democrats will simply ignore the obvious conclusion and act like nothing happened.
