Agree we should be cutting aid like crazy to anyone who isn't a citizen. Shouldn't be pissing away tax dollars like that supporting people who came here illegally.

I saw this happen in the city I grew up in... Kingston. IBM left there in the 90s. After that the city and it's surrounding villages/towns taxed the hell out of the homeowners. There was and still are property owners moving out of kingston. The city has never been able to come back from that no matter how many people fomr hte city come to visit the four blocks of the stockade area.
So yeah... Go ahead MonkeyFace. Increase the income tax in NY so that the people you have left here really do move out. PLEASE DO IT.

NY STILL has $.25 added gasoline tax (per gallon) initiated post 9-11 to help find security initiatives. And at the last sunset milestone when it was re-upped, Schmuck Schumer said that everyone was used to paying it, so why relax it, they could use it for something else!!!

As retired NYS employee I don’t pay income tax on pension or SS. I expect to feel the bite in county, city and school taxes. So far Onondaga has been holding the line against new taxes with retirements and layoffs.
