NEW YORK (Reuters) - New York Governor Andrew Cuomo, under investigation for alleged sexual harassment and under fire for misreporting the COVID-19 death toll at the state’s nursing homes, has hired a criminal defense lawyer, the Wall Street Journal reported on Monday.

Elkan Abramowitz, a former federal prosecutor now working as a prominent white-collar defense attorney in New York City, said he would defend the governor and his top aides in both scandals, the Journal reported.

He has killed thousands of NY elderly and this is how he will fail? I will restate, he killed thousands of elderly NYer's, and nothing is done. A few woman accuse of him of sexual misconduct and he is crucified. I say good, but next to nothing said about those that he killed!

It is okay to kill thousands through failed policies, but holy shit, bring out the prison garb cause he asked for a kiss.

I am not giving him a pass at all on his conduct, kind of disgusting, but to think this is more important than the old people his policies killed shows that America really is jacked the fuck up,

For the record I have mixed feelings on all of this. It's easy to make accusations to ruin somebody. You shouldn't lose a job, get kicked out of school, etc. because someone accused you of something and with no or meager evidence.

Having said that I wouldn't be shedding any tears if Andy gets kicked to the dustbin of history.

It is still entertaining to watch the Left use accusations by Leftists and deploy standard Leftist political assault tactics to clear the Leftist decks of one Liberal for another, probably more progressive, Leftist.

I'm sure that the state will suffer even more under the boot of the next more-Liberal more-progressive Democrat governor. New York Democrats want this state to be the capital of the American Woketopian Empire.
