What is CCS?

Tighten your tin foil hats for a moment and speculate with me. Liquefied CO2 pipelines will be run through lower lying politically red areas. Valves will be installed at intervals, remotely operable of course. CO2, as mentioned, is heavier and seeks its level much as water does, and is an asphyxiant not only to oxygen supported life forms but to any engine that utilizes oxygen in its operation.
So, in order to quell dissent or create a diversion, a massive pipeline leak occurs, killing all life and preventing any vehicle access (except for EV’s which don’t rely on combustion).
And why not? The current state of affairs leads me to believe that a scenario like this is not only likely but has already been discussed at length by some fucking shit weasel think tank.

The concentration of CO2 necessary to stop a combustion process is much *much* higher than what it takes to kill mammals.
CO2 is actually poisonous for people. For engines (and fire in general) it just displaces oxygen, that makes it no more dangerous for them than any other non-oxygen gas.

I guess I don’t understand how you need to give someone access to your property to look at it to see if they want to steal it or not. I have a HUGE problem with eminent domain and we’re supposed to be the land of the free not land of the free land. Yes I know they pay a “fair market” value for the land but that land is this guys business and livelihood so will they pay his lost wages?

Same with these EV bastards. I read and article that mining for these elements and doing the chemistry is worse than just using the oil that is right below our feet. Along with efficient ways of making hydrogen. I found out that hydrogen is not a fuel, but rather a carrier of energy because hydrogen is always mixed with other elements on Earth, unless we live on the Sun where it's abundant in it's natural form. Which makes sense.
I really wish America would come to our senses and just drill our own oil state-side and work harder on renewable fuels like Ethanol and renewable/bio-diesels. Just makes sense without reinventing the damn wheel.
