Unless Walmart (a) posts their rules conspicuously at the entrances to their stores, or (b) personally communicates the rules to me, I don't know what their rules are. I'm all for private property rights. But in order for the rules to be enforced, they need to be communicated clearly. A press release is not the appropriate method for doing so.

I don't know how obvious I can make this. SO...if you or others don't want to honor a request, so be it and people should respect that as their choice. Most on this topic state negative responses to people going into Walmart with open carry. My opinion is they aren't breaking any laws inside or outside the building and that is their choice. I respect their decision.

People chose to work for low wages at these types of stores. They also chose to rob the American people by using/abusing the system.

The tax payers are not subsidizing Walmart because of social programs designed to give aid to these lower paid people.

My opinion (and as we all know opinions are like assholes...everybody has one) is that the best way to protest this isn't to sling your AR over your shoulder put your Desert Eagle at your hip for the world to see. It's to communicate to Wal Mart that you do not like their new policy and that you will be taking your business elsewhere and then do so! Hitting them in the pocketbook is the best way to do it.

Yes, I know there are many communities, especially rural ones, where there are few mom and pop stores left if any (mine is one of them...though we do have the option of Shop Rite for groceries). But sacrifices will need to be made if you want change to happen. And for what it's worth it was Wal Mart who pushed those mom and pop stores out to being with.

That’s an old link. Look up Penal Code 26350. They no longer allow open carry but still, that isn’t Walmart‘a problem. That’s the citizenry’s problem.

I’ll be 100 percent honest here. I think open carry is stupid out in public because you give up your tactical advantage but if you want to be stupid enough to give up that tactical advantage, I believe you have a right to.

With that said, if I owned a store, I would ban open carry in it. Why? I don’t want to scare away the libtard dollar. I opened it to make money. My choice. Not yours.

Its not if there is a grocery store, another resturant that doesn't have a dress code or you can supply me with a jacket and tie. But if you are the only place to get food in town and its either eat your food or starve how is that fair to end my life over your dress code?

Still not my problem. My store. My rules. I don’t want people without shoes in my store. I don’t care if you cannot afford shoes and I’m the only store in a 20 mile radius. Get shoes or have someone else go into the store for you.
