I vote no. Not a grip.
Federally yes. In NY however...Angled forgrips are also g2g legal but are stupid, best options are the hand stops or a stubby vert grip used as the back part of a handstop (but not here in NY)

Like I said, federally it's legal because it isn't a forward vertical grip. Federally they only ban forward vertical grips in certain firearm configurations. The key there is vertical.Ah.... good! Since it isn't a grip, we're all in agreement.

Suppose I have no hands. Would my AR with a pistol grip and forward grip be considered non-compliant? After all, the "protruding grip" could not be held by my non trigger hand.
