Handgun Grip Angles

Does anyone have issues with this ?
I shoot a Glock 19, Gen4 & Gen5.
In my case when I draw fast and punch out to the target my sights naturally point high.
I have to make an adjustment by canting my right wrist to get a perfect index (sight picture).
When time allows I do this but while running and gunning or in
a stressful situation I sometimes do not resulting in a higher shot.
If the gun Naturally pointed straight when I presented it to the target I would not have this problem.
I most likely would be a better shooter.
Any comments ?

If I remember correctly you shoot 1911's.

I do prefer the "1911" grip angle. Lately I've been shooting a CZ P10 or a Sig 226.

i love the idea of Glocks, but they point REAL high for me! I want a 43 so badly, no bueno!

Same. I wrote a big detailed article on this topic once; comparing all the angles/numbers in detail and what not. I'm not certain where that article lives on the internets anymore though.

I would hate to leave the Glock camp.
I have a lot invested.
Guns, mags, parts and tools.

So I guess I have to keep practicing until it comes naturally.

No. It's not like this some unknown thing; it's very common. Glocks simply have a very severe grip angle.

Are you holding it like the video above though? I hold it like that and it points natural for me.

I notice that i experience the same thing when i get into a string of rapid shots. S&W always touts that their grip angle is a "natural" one but i haven't had the opportunity to shoot one yet.

They work for me. I dont mind the 1911 angle though. Small hands fit everything

As much as I used to whine about it since giving Glock another go the grip angle hasn't affected my my shooting. Actually I find that it helps keeps the muzzle down under recoil.
Glocks are just weird, they are ugly, they are uncomfortable but when you shoot one all of that fades away and the thing shoots wonderfully.

know that dang gun .. i had no choice on grip pref and all that with the moss 22lr .. i just shot it a lot and fell in love with it

i have had strangers at the ranges . wanna shoot .. i'm both eyes open .. pew pew pew .. nice shooting ..

if this hottie can shoot with no sights .. you need to think some .. I have one gun .. old moss 22lr and only 7 shots .. i grew up on that gun

Most of you guys missed the point.
I'm talking about "Natural Point Of Aim"

@Podmonkey, while gripping the gun in an unorthodox
way you are taking the time to line up the sights.

@Acer-m14, closing an eye just shifts the focus of the sights right or left.

These things have nothing to do with grip angle.
Grip angle drives the sights high or low on the target.

Just carry a gun with a normal grip angle for normal height targets and a glock for targets that are taller than you.
