Extremely rare Beretta Cougar in .45ACP w/rail. These are known as the "sample pistols"! Only 13 were made as samples for the LAPD around 2005! They were never shipped and were discovered when Beretta was cleaning out the MD. plant prior to moving to TN! Of the 13 known to exist.....I HAVE TWO OF THEM! After these were made, the machinery was sent to Turkey and the Cougar is now produced by the Stoeger division of Beretta! The Cougar will never be produced again by Beretta and these are thought to be the last Cougars made by Beretta!

Alright....you want "rare & unusual"? This is an HK4. In 1971 H&R (the importer for HK) brought in the HK 4 in this two box set. This gun came with barrels and recoil springs for .22LR, .25ACP, 32ACP & .380 ACP! As far as I know, they only did this for one year and this set is complete in boxes with all papers etc. I am also told that this was the first gun model made by HK. View attachment 1051

Since I posted it (jokingly) in the other thread about EDC guns, I may as well post it here too.

Rock River Arms LAR-PDS Piston AR Pistol - Fixed mag of course. Mag release is permanently filled and welded so this is a top-loader only. Fixed magazine is a Magpul 10rd M3 PMAG.

Pretty neat having the piston AR set up on a pistol especially so there is no need for a bulky buffer tube.

How are the LCR's? I'd like to have a revolver for carry, but I'm not sold on the looks of the LCR.

Pretty comfortable to carry, hold and shoot. A bit snappy. I only own it cause it was free. If it wasn't free, I would not own it.
