HAHA! Yup.^^^ You're a lefty? Eeeeew.
Just remember, we're in our right minds....sorta..kinda...well, sometimes.^^^ You're a lefty? Eeeeew.
I ended up putting a 3.5lb disconnect on my G23 helped some and I have steadily improved with the otherwise stock trigger. I also replaced the spring and guide rod with the tungsten one and it definitely changed the way the pistol recoiled. It feels more like its pushing into my hand now than "snapping" up at the muzzle. I too have that same Streamlight. Nice butcher Block desktop BTW! I would like to get one at some point.View attachment 9370 View attachment 9094

Someone commented that shooting a light trigger masks poor technique and that hit home because I have that nice 2011 up above... and it shoots great, I got a lot better with it and have been shooting a lot more. But that comment stuck with me and they had a point so I started taking my home defense Glock 19 to the range every time instead of just once in a while... starting shooting 50-100 rounds per session with that heavy crappy Glock trigger and slowly made progress. I'll never shoot it as well as the gamer pistol but it really helped me to dig in and work on learning how to shoot the Glock, and it helped me shoot the race pistol better too.
So today I started pimping it out lol. I know not to put money into Glocks but the Taran G19 carry magwell really does improve the grip for me. I have XL hands and was using the large beavertail backstrap but tried it without any backstrap and found I can grip it better, which surprised me. The stapling is kind of like the Taran custom Glocks, not quite as skillful but not embarrassed by it. Pretty happy with it right now.
Going to add a Vickers mag release (cheap) not sure if I will mess with the trigger, I would like it cleaner and shorter. To me there is a too much take up and a gritty break.
