Maybe after some trigger time on the 42 she'll wanna step up to the 43 eh? There are some good .380 loads out there besides.Picked this up for the wife. I couldn't talk her into the 43 was stuck on the feel of the 42.

Speaking of 42s... I was looking at the glock website last night to see if I could get specs on the 29. I guess no one is making a G30 80% frame yet but I'd like to make a 29 out of one. I saw the 25 and 28. They are restricted to LEO only. Never knew there were ones that civilians couldn't own. Must be frustrating to collectors.
ETA: the training pistols are LEO only as well
The only 80% out there for glocks are 9mm/40/357 since they are all the same, then they go with the small medium large (26/19/17 for example) they are now starting to make 43 80% lowers.
As for the 25 and 28 being restricted for LEO that has to do with The Gun Control Act of 1968, where restrictions were placed on guns that could be imported, and both those guns do not "score" enough points to be imported into the states

Hughes and Wrangel are the most culpable parties in that particular fandango.
I am not saying Reagan was friend to all gun owners. I think he was generally indifferent beyond the typical Fudd types. Perhaps couldve and shouldve fought it. There was that whole cold war thing at the time.

got lucky! found it last week and ran it a the range this past weekend. A small store was liquidating its website and they had one left. It was probably just sitting there haha. Had to jump on it.

yea I replied to his thread! Def a difference man. I put about 300 rounds through it this weekend. I tested with the comp on and off. Noticeable difference in muzzle flip and getting the gun back on target. My buddy came down with me who wanted to see it and test it also. He agreed on the difference.
The 19 is also new. the first 50-75 rounds i had some cycling issues. I was shooting 115. After a small break in period it was fine.
something to note. The War-loc barrel is a little longer than a 19 barrel. Almost about the size of a 17. Its also a lone wolf barrel.
overall I love the design. Definitely makes the gun look cooler. But besides that it does work. Basically got lucky on finding it. Mayhem syndicate also does a run on what he calls the "cali-comp". he is currently working on pre-orders. You can find him on instagram. Its a smaller comp made for carry and does not thread on. He uses a S3F solutions barrel. it's small and the design is not as cool at the war-loc but its still another option for people in NY.

Just picked it up yesterday, a blast to shoot. Easiest pistol I've ever cleaned, so simple to take down. I also plan on putting a red dot on it in the next month or so.
