I have a good friend that is Muslim, I respect his faith and devotion. You guys busting balls about Ramadan...how is their fasting and ritual any different than the stupid catholic cult's fasting during Lent and other silly religious holidays? Painting everybody with a very broad brush seems pretty bigoted and ignorant....just sayin.

Seriously though, in many parts of the world Islam is today where Christianity was 500 years ago.

They'll grow out of it, in some places they already have. But, they are *very* susceptible to getting whole countries taken over by essentially cult leaders.

Iran and Afghanistan were thriving modern Islamic countries in the 60s. Then a few cult like leaders got some power and now they have morality police who will stone women to death for showing too much ankle.

Christianity seems to have evolved beyond that, cult leaders just can't get traction beyond a few hundred vulnerable individuals.

OFC, the west now has the religion of Leftism.

Leftism denies that it's a religion, but it's got all the worst parts of one.

I could seriously see Christians, Muslims, and non religious conservatives having to ally together to defeat the leftists.

Moderate Muslims, like Latino Christians, are a natural ally for conservatives of all sorts. We mostly agree on all the important stuff.

The problem is that today the left and the Muslims have formed some bizarre unholy alliance despite the fact that their ideologies are diametrically opposed.

Maybe we should start sponsoring "cultural exchanges" where we send young leftists to study abroad in Gaza. Be interesting to see how their pronouns are received there...

And yeah, I haven't read lately about Catholics storming Mosques and killing Muslims but this happens very often in the Muslim world, try using News Media not from here in the U.S. as there was a recent event in Egypt not too long ago! But I've never met one who had the balls one on one to profess their hate an anger towards an American! Like most sheeple, they hide behind others and only act in concert.

Funny you say this and yes it was true but that seems to be changing quickly. There seems to be tons of pro-Palestine and pro Hamas crap going on in this country. Its so bad to the extent that Biden changed his idea and support for Israel.

The owner/creator of Gab has said in his posts that he feels everyone should be converted to christianity at swordpoint, and that unbelievers should be culled. Yu can also see the worst dregs of christianity on full display there being insulting toward just about everyone else, but with what appears to be special hatred of non-whites and jews.

I've yet to see an Abrahamic religion that is NOT violent.

You may have people, like friends or local clergy, who actually believe in the concept of "live and let live" or the 1st Amendment... People who have true faith but realize that not everyone shares it...
People like this I have a lot of respect for.
But most of the leaders are not that accepting or courteous. if those people decide to choose violence then they had better not be surprised at what they receive.

There are extremity’s in every walk of life, faith, and everywhere. Most of my friends are from my church at this point and none of them have these views and to my knowledge the leaders of my church locally, nationally, or regionally do not either.
Yea there was the crusades and some probably still believe in that sort of thing but because one wacko says that doesn’t mean they all are and you even say that in your post.
The problem is now the extremes are glorified. The bad people are the right are made more public, the 5-10% that are lgbtqa are made more public. The left and the media hate the Christian faith so this wacko will be made more visible. We need to fight this and yes I made commoners on the Muslim religion as many others did. There’s plenty of fine Muslims and right now with all the conflicts the bad ones are being highlighted.
