have they figured out the issues? I have seen you tube "tests" between this and the UTAS UTS-15 tactical shotgun.
The thing was plagued with jams and other FTF issues? and they want a lot of money for something that doesn't seem all that reliable

Holy crap!!! I'll stick with my 870 and good training.
That guy was clearly doing a mag dump. No other reason your hand would slip off a pump and you shoot yourself.
I still want a KSG.
The plastic rail has failed in a few instances which lead the the vertical foregrip breaking off during rapid fire and then the offhand going in front of the muzzle and being shot. There are stronger aftermarket aluminum rails available to ameliorate this issue. Or one could not just blindly fire a KSG as fast as possible.

See now if everyone did as you did instead of complaining about fancy words, there would soon be nothing to complain about.
Was a kid at the range this year with one of those... You'd hear a few rounds go off, then silence. Then a few more, then silence... Yes, was jamming up on him. Not sure what generation he had, but it was clear, it's a novelty and not something I would bet my life on, say like for HD. Best to wait out the bugs...

My big issue with the KSG? Same as with any bullpup, limited/awkward access to to the action to remedy stoppages or clear/check status of the firearm. I imagine it's a little harder to be mindful of what the muzzle is covering while you are fiddling around back there.

I shot my buddy's ksg before I bought mine and I will say it you don't rack it like you mean it it does seem to jam. I have shot it like any other shotgun and never had a single hiccup.

You can't short stroke a KSG. I never had a malfunction with it.
As far as the plastic rails go, it all depends on the grip you use. If you use a grip that only attaches to one rail tooth, you'll run into problems. My Larue grip used two rail tooths and I never had a problem.
The only problem I ever had was the magazine selector loosened up on the threads. Blue locktite fixed that permanently.

They guy Mac was short-stroking the shit out that gun. I no longer have one but like I've said before, "I've never had any issues when I did." It was my first shotgun too, so I claim to be no expert.
Just trying to be controversial.
I can kick myself in the ass at times. When I was selling guns, I had the opportunity to buy one of these direct from Keltec at a huge discount. There were so many guns I wanted with limited funds, I passed on it. Really wish I had not.
Sorry to bring up an old thread but I am looking to purchase a new shotgun and wanted something different from the norm. I see that these are now in the third generation and wonder how much they have improved? I can pick one up for about $675 and wonder if they are worth it or not?
