That can be taken in multiple ways!I should get a pair.
Same results here.I used the Howard Leight and the Walker's for years (couple other brands too). They're both pretty good.
But last year I got the MSA Sordin. They are AMAZING. Completely different league. Not even close. Cost a lot more though.
They work when inserted properly.Cheap assed foam things that go for about a buck for a hundred.
I've used cigarette filters, they work too. When I was young and all we could shoot were rifles, we never even wore ear plugs. As long as you stay behind the muzzle it aint bad at all. They work when inserted properly.
I just got these. I’m hoping they work good for rifle and shotgun.AXIL GS Extreme 2.0 earbuds work for me. They are lightweight and work great! Wait for a BOGOF sale, though from the manufacturer.

I found the Howard leight uncomfortable.
Peltors were much more comfortable and similar noise reduction.
I've recently gotten a pair of Axil. The first pair died on my first outing. Emailed them and they sent me a brand new pair of the Bluetooth versions. Have used them a half dozen times now without issues.
I wanna try their earbuds next
They've got a 35% off sale going on now.
I can't believe you and I are the only ones not liking the Howard Leight.
Do you have a link or coupon code for the 35% off sale?
I had heard about that. Two things come to mind, active military are probably exposed to much bigger and many more explosions than us civilians, and, honestly, I've only heard it on those late night ambulance chaser commercials. Now I aint saying its not an issue, just have to wonder how widespread a problem it is,I got a pair of gel plugs from a Marine buddy he said came from the military.I used em a couple times, cant find them now.The foam just get thrown away.I used those while I was in the Military. Found out after that 3M fucked up and cost some soldiers their hearing. I won't trust them anymore.
