Probably needed the extractor tuned. I would take the extractor out and see if the super case fits in the breech face (bet it will) then tune the extractor.I had a Wildey in .45 Win Mag. and it wasn't bad to shoot, didn't hit as hard as the .454 Casull, but certainly a hell of a lot harder than the Desert Eagle in .44 mag. We had a LAR Grizzly in .45wm come into the Shop: I popped off a few rounds just because it was there, and it's a handful as well. I just remembered having an AMT Automag in .44automag and it was about the same as the Wildey.
10mm is my all time favorite overall Pistol Cartridge, and I have it in three Delta Elites...and should they come along at an opportune time and price I would like a Sig or maybe S&W in 10mm.
.460Roland is a snotbox, be sure to put 22 pound plus Springs in it, no experience with .45 Super, but I expect it's right there with the Roland.
I love big bore Handguns and have/had plenty of them, but here of late I've regressed to 9mm's and 38/357's
I've got one of the Sig p250's in 9mm...never shot it.
.38 Super is what 9mm wants to be...slightly bigger rim than 9mm: Bought a Tisis 9mm 1911 tore it down, installed a few high speed-low drag parts and a .38 Super Barrel; went to chamber a test dummy, wouldn't guide up the slide face and that's when I remembered the ten thousandths or so difference....SHIT! put the 9mm barrel back on it, still haven't shot that one either....gotta change that!
