Some of the comments in different places where this is posted are amazing. One person said "why was this guy carrying concealed in a bar?" or something along those lines. So, I guess the poster would have been ok with an Orlando style shooting, as long as no one was legally carrying in a bar. Idiot.

After all, if we apply reverse logic, then we shouldn't be talking politics except at polling places, and Religion shall only be allowable at certified, recognized houses of worship!

There was this guy one day, friend of a friend, we're hanging out bulls hitting and firearms came up (of course), and he was just dead set against anyone having firearms at all except police and military. Lol, after trying to explain the Constitution and Bill of Rights, and a few other avenues to enlighten him, I gave up. It just doesn't matter to these people, the same people though who'll argue for criminal migrants and more! Anyways...
Back to our regular programming...

Thank goodness for a good guy with a gun. Yet the media will spend more time talking about the instructor who negligently shot a student . When I'm not at work I am rarely out in public cell I don't typically get to carry very often. As most know I work in New York City where it's a felony for me to exercise my 2nd Amendment right. I wonder when the hell we're going to start hearing more about National reciprocity out of this new Administration.
I'm not so sure that National reciprocity is going to do much for Folks traveling in NY, or CA. I'm going to bet that any National Law is going to have the stipulation that "local" laws must be followed. The question then becomes; how many legal gun owners will be arrested, and found guilty, because they had a "large capacity"(by NY, CA, et al definition!!) magazine.

It's also got some nice teeth authorizing attorney fees for anyone who they attempt to prosecute and fail, and even some liability for those prosecuting the case.

“(2) The term ‘handgun’ includes any magazine for use in a handgun and any ammunition loaded into the handgun or its magazine.
That certainly handles all the nuttiness of magazine limits, and "hollow point" issues. Is this Bill passes, Ol' cumho's head will explode! Man, I hope this goes through, just to see that.
He'll probably try something stupid like making NYS a "NON-sanctuary state" for gun owners!
