I think the whole 80% debacle started a few months ago when the NY AG sent a "cease and desist" letter to a few of the identified vendors. So in a fashion similar to the vendors not shipping ammo to us, these businesses also didn't want the hassle and are playing it safe.
And if anyone has any recommendations for a nice road trip from the WNY area to PA I would love to know where the best stores are......

They are one of many that have been refusing to ship product to NY for awhile now. They're on my asshole list.
There are a fair number that will ship all/most parts to NY (magazines 11+ being the biggest exception). Most list their shipping restrictions in their Terms of Service, FAQs, or Shipping links.
There are patriotic companies that are still shipping ammo to NY right to your door just to spite Cuomo, and I believe certain companies are planning to ship parts regardless of what that bastard down in Albany signs. God bless them, and may Almighty God smite Cuomo with furious, righteous anger for what he is doing to the people of this state.
Make use of chat on the different sites to inquire who is shipping, or their contact email. I won't post here who is shipping and plans to keep flipping the bird at Cuomo, but they are out there and I have tremendous respect for them as patriots and businessmen.

You need to change your method of contact. Maybe to something more physical. I'm guessing that letters or internet messages don't attract their attention. A good tar and feathering, or a trial for treason might change their opinions, especially if a few were hung after a proper trial. I think the entire country is fed up with the political class.
