I’m much more concerned about the weird dude at the gun shop that only wants to buy one bullet, not the guy that wants a couple cases of various calibers.

I have mentioned this before I purchased a handgun from sportsman Warehouse . It had to be ordered. I prepaid for the gun and they gave me a gift card to hold until the gun came in and I turned in the gift certificate to purchase the hand gun... This could be a possible work around ?
Me too. I’ve never done an ammo background check and I’m proud of it as well. I’ll need some new self defense ammo soon so I’ll be making a trip some where for that. I should have bought some while I was away recently but I don’t have time. I passed few gun shops too. I slacked on that trip for sure. The ammo thing is no surprise. The whole reason for BCs for ammo was to track what people buy. If you bulk purchased to avoid multiple BCs in the future...well you are on their radar now. Im still proud I have never bought ammo since that law went into affect.
The CC thing is interesting. Its a state law, so I would assume it only pertains to in state purchases. My FFL is small and I generally purchase from places like Gunbroker, Impact, PSA, etc and have them shipped. Pay cash for the transfer. Jabba the hut and her gestapo cannot exactly enforce that. I suppose they could kindly ask the CC companies, but most would probably say pound salt. Just my two cents.
Get a Visa one of the other Debit Cards at Wally World, or any location that sells them. No Customer name. Just pay and load with cash. This is why Jude cash for all guns and unrelated items. Although it’s getting harder and harder to do in NYS. I wonder how it is tracked or if it is if I buy in line and use the funds out of my bank account and bypass any credit or debit card. Anyone know how that would work?
Wait, I’m lost. Which one is the pig?Except the pig rode in on her
So in NY one has to get a background check for ammo of which info is logged into a database AND the CC companies will now track your purchases and report them to NY?? Time to buy suppositories and cayenne pepper by the case.

Micro-management by the nanny state. That's a good point. If the state already requires background checks for any ammo or firearms, why have the credit card companies report that you purchased something (possibly bug repellent or beef jerky) from an outdoor store.
She is lower than the pig, she's a cum bucket for the pig, kind of a pig concubine.Wait, I’m lost. Which one is the pig?
LGS need to start accepting payment in crypto currency through Flexa. No identity associated with purchase, no MC code shared cuz there isn’t one. The stores just have to want to shield their customers. Easy for the purchaser too.I am driving, haven't done any research on this yet but I heard her in her own words bragging about 3 new anti gun laws that are now in effect. One of which should concern everyone here.
She is extremely proud that she coerced credit card companies to collect and store data on consumer purchases of gun related items like ammo to report into a database for predictive analysis on whom the state police needs to flag pre emptively as "stocking up to do something bad".
Just throwing that out there to make people aware.
All of your spending data is saved into databases and tracked. Sufe it's usually just bullshit rewards programs and for marketing but it can definitely be used for sinister government big brother over reach and social credit nonsense. Which is conspiracy theory stuff. Except, out governor literally just said that's what she's making the credit card companies do.
Shhhhh! The first rule of workarounds is, no one talks about workarounds. It's ridiculous. An easy workaround is to get one of those GreenDot cards, use it, dispose of it, and get another one.
To catch NY'ers who are buying out of state. That's a good point. If the state already requires background checks for any ammo or firearms, why have the credit card companies report that you purchased something (possibly bug repellent or beef jerky) from an outdoor store.
Google already records your firearm data. They wrote an algorithm a few years back that records the serial number from pictures we post of our guns. It also does the same for video. When I first heard about it, I thought it was BS. But I did a little searching and sure enough, Google and all of its child/sister/partner companies, and Facebook index the images. It's supposed to be so they can locate guns used in crimes. In reality, it's just a huge worldwide registry using images and video.
Your purchases are already tracked on everything from underwear to firearm stuff anyway, even using cash.
Anyone who thinks buying something in a gun shop with cash that you need to show an ID for is in denial if you think that store doesn't have a digital fingerprint on you. I hate it, but that's what high-tech does. I stated this before, there's a locally private owned chain of gun stores in the Albany area that have and keep a database on all customers. They record every purchase into the file they make on you, doesn't matter if you pay with cash, card, or goats.
This! I too had no real idea just how badly gun owners in New Yorkistan are being fucked until I moved to Free America (the Carolina's).

She already has that as of the NYS background AND got you to pay for it.She wants to build a data base of all guns owners, who buy any ammo as, a red flag threat...................20 bullets is enough..........THAT IS THE SECRET STANDARD.
Next, logically, is an mandatory inventory of all ammo owned................AND FIREARMS.........ONE GUN AND 20 BULLETS IS HER GOAL--------- TO KEEP MUSLIMS/BLM SAFE, FROM SELF DEFENSE MAGA............or in her mind planning"something"........like shooting trap, sleet, cowboy, IDPA, 3 gun, etc etc.
ALL TERRORISTS....... COME FROM THE NATIONAL TRAP SHOOTERS ASSOCIATION...Hochul rule #89
Even reloading supplies will be tracked as a terrorist's attempt to get around ammo NICS checks.
She belongs on Mt Rushmore..............position optional.
I didn't write the laws, but I do follow them. I don't own Google or Facebook, I don't write the code that spies on people, and I'm not responsible for electronics that record conversations. I don't live in a dream world where leprechauns ride unicorns over rainbows, either. I look at what's going on around me in real time to make decisions. I'm just a guy who likes to hunt and go target shooting sometimes. I'm just a guy who feels all of my constitutional rights are not to be violated, especially the ones who state right in the Amendment it shall not be infringed upon. I don't own or operate a gun store. I completely agree with you, as long as you haven't committed a violent felony I say you should be allowed to walk into any store that sells guns, buy any long or hand gun (including an SBR) in the place, and go home with it right then and there. No papers, no checks, pay and leave. The constitution does not say I need permission to buy a firearm. This is so much NY programming it isn't even funny! Want to talk about secondary sale/transfers? How many states, especially those free states do not require ANY paperwork, no involvement of a LGS or BGC, etc. So what are they tracking? Also, FFL's are only required to process the FEDERAL BGC where required. And Google doesn't have access to that, if paying cash! No State requirements to record the sales transaction, serial # or purchaser! You walk into a LGS purchase a handgun, pass the BGC, pay and you're on your way. That's it!
The problem here is the bad 70's movie dystopian nanny State moronic ridiculousness that wants to watch you're every move! Basically prescribing that you only Live by Permission in all aspects of your life, even those funny little things identified as Rights! Albeit selectively as the 2nd gets the most attention!
They did that with me on a fly reel. I prepaid and was given a gift card to pay when the reel showed up. I thought it was BS, but it does seem like a way to use their policies to circumvent the Albany Asswipe.I have mentioned this before I purchased a handgun from sportsman Warehouse . It had to be ordered. I prepaid for the gun and they gave me a gift card to hold until the gun came in and I turned in the gift certificate to purchase the hand gun... The excuse they use is someone "stocking up" and that's a subjective amount to trigger examination of the purchase, which really isn't ANY of the States fucking business, but I digress...the second is the ignorance of their own demand of BGC's for ammunition transfers...thing I wonder about is IF the Credit Card Companies are required to report transactions with certain Codes to the State?I am driving, haven't done any research on this yet but I heard her in her own words bragging about 3 new anti gun laws that are now in effect. One of which should concern everyone here.
