Why would someone store guns in their office, how would that be considered a good idea? How does no one notice him bringing in 27 long guns? If this happened in 46 other states he probably would have been fired and that would have been the end of it.

No standing - Hospital property, almost certain to be a "Gun Free Zone" with published restrictions in the Employee Handbook. "Private office" would only means it was assigned to him by Hospital Admin. He would have to legally own the space and claim that they had no justifiable cause for the search - and even with that, a bomb threat and subsequent search could be ruled to supersede the right to privacy.

In a recent 'Active shooter exercise' (about 3 weeks previous) - which took place at a Madison county hospital, - initiated by NYS Police, and involving Sheriff's Dept. and local city police agencies, - the final advice given to hospital admin. by state police was - " If you want your facility to be safe, - first, take down your "NO FIREARMS ALLOWED ON PREMISES" signs, - all these signs mean is that the shooting gallery is open." - Secondly, - "it would be wise for the admins. to survey your employees, determine how many CCW people you have, and ALLOW THEM TO BRING WEAPONS TO WORK WITH THEM, - if your employees are not allowed to carry concealed while working, at least allow them to store their weapons nearby, in their secured lockers, if needed in an actual emergency." - Hospital administrators DID SURVEY some of their 600+ staff to get an idea of how many were gun owners. - It remains to be seen if any changes will come from this.

It was the hospitals office that they authorized him to use. I'm assuming they fully authorized the search too.
This goes right to the success of the leftist media's campaign against law-abiding gun owners.
They have successfully convinced most upper management to fear that a law-abiding person with a gun will "go on a rampage" if one bad thing happens: failure to get a raise, get laid off, have a bad day at work. Management fears what could happen in those scenario more than they fear the thug or druggy walking into their unsecured doors and shooting up the place.
Uvalde was a good example of this mentality. Teachers, you know, those people you put in charge of the safety and education of your children, are not allowed to CCW, yet a mind-fucked individual is just allowed to saunter into an unlocked door and have free reign killing children left and right with impunity.
Good thing Mrs Robinson didn't snap during her Gender Identities class, though.
