I happen to be of the opinion that generally speaking, age is a pretty good indicator of whether a person is ready to do certain things. They don’t take 18 yr olds in the police academy for a reason. They’re generally still kids in the head.. Why this is blasphemy, I do not understand?

You take 18-20 years old into the infantry into combat though right? So they can kill for our government on demand, but they can’t protect their homes and you can send them out to die in your place in the battlefield and that’s ok, but they can’t have a gun on USA soil. Got it. Now we understand on the battlefield it’s their life instead of yours and that’s ok.

Imagine if in the 1980’s-1990’s a ton of pro 2nd amendment people moved into California and changed the voting demographic? Imagine if in 2013 a ton of pro 2nd amendment people moved into NY and changed the voting demographic? Look at what’s happening to so many of the so called free states right now. California people move in and change the voting demographic. There is nothing left to stand and fight for? you can stand and fight, and this government will steam roll you into the pavement without batting an eye. The problem is, One or two cities control the state(s). what we need is an electoral college for a state, not just for the federal gov. this way a single city can't take over a state. It is a beautiful state, but there are 49 others with beauty too. We’re looking to get out. I’m hoping to make it 20 years to get my full retirement, but that’s even open to interpretation at this point. With the gun laws and environmental laws I’m not sure it will be feasible to stay here. Also if it get my masters and teach maybe I’ll just try to do that full time and then I can live in any state in the USA since it’s online. Time will tell and I just need to feel it out.

You earn it through your own actions, and lose it through your own actions as well. Turns out being a "baby momma" to some kid where the guy doesn't want to be around has consequences. Maybe the single mother should have considered that? I worked for and earned where I live and I did that precisely because I DON'T want my kids around the people you describe. I don't want to be the role model for some random fucking kids, that's the parents job, not mine.

I don't fault all single moms. Shit happens sometimes. BUT, I have seen enough to know that those are the exception, not the rule. It is possible to live in those conditions and become a responsible, productive, successful person.

No, what we need are judges that actually uphold the Constitution.
What we need are severe penalties for any politicians that write, vote for, or otherwise support infringements on our Rights.

the electoral college would do just that. it would negate any power one city has over an entire state, ie NYC.

By removing elected officials from their position of power, we can get pro-gun people in place. we are both on the same page, just different roads to get to the same spot
