White kids get shot and it's on every 15 minutes, national outlets. I've come to the conclusion CNN and MSNBC are racist, they don't want to report about failed laws in liberal utopias.

Because they can't report on the "Black on Black" or even "Black on White" crimes... It's not convenient to do so... It doesn't fit their agenda! There's nothing to figure out! While Barack Hussein Obama shed tears, he never talked about his supposed home-town! But you know, under Obama's administration, those dastardly "White Supremist" were identified as the #1 domestic terror threat, while ignoring the organized Latin American gangs numbering in the ten's of thousands!

So... Moral of the story? Don't believe everything you read... Believe even less of what you read on the internet. Do your own research and you'll find enlightenment! Some 80% of under 30's use the internet as their primary source of information!

As many die in Chicago per month as just happened in Florida, and all you hear is crickets! There's no outcry, no students stomping their feet... It's all bullshit!

But in all reality it's not. And it's not because the media accepts that it's OK to have so many minorities who die this way, it's just that when the discussion takes place in earnest, it's unavoidable that the facts will lead you down certain paths that nobody wants to talk about! So it's easier to just blame the inanimate object that is the deliverer of death... As made apparent again with this rampage in Florida.

I agree with the reasons stated above. But there are other reasons. The sheer number of victims in one incident is newsworthy. Events like this are also rather rare which makes them noteworthy, while the shootings in Chicago are so frequent as to become part of the everyday makeup of that city. Remember that old saying about the press - "if it bleeds it leads."
