Sent in my paperwork today. I have no doubt they’re going to pull my permit since I live out of state. Go for,it FUAC. I followed the rules so they won’t put a shit stain on my NICS that may prevent me from buying guns in the future.

What point ? Internet and mail were the options to recertify. IF you want to gamble with your permit, so be it. BUT....when people post here in the future, their permit is revoked for whatever reason....I don't care to see it. The system we have sucks..They have all the juice. .no one's going to war over this. So as stated...gamble with yours and whatever others do, is their business

Same here. I don't GAF who thinks what of me for doing online. Point is, some blue hair, punk, trooper, intern, whomever they have entering your shit from the form, they make a mistake. IF this gets to the point we all think it will, and they see in their system "SN BFD6969" and your permit says "SN BFD6960" what do you think the roadside cop will do? "Oh i'm sure it is a typo. run along and fix that with the county and they will fix it with the state."

It would be interesting to see how many people on this forum who in the past spoke approvingly of revolution and insurrection submitted their recertification electronically for reasons stated above.
If we, as the most active pro-second amendment people in the state are scared to comply with the law in one of the specified ways, we're all f-ed.

I seriously debated about not recertifying. Part of me says "F the state, they'll never know." The other part of me says, "You're going to be the one who is F'ed if something happens." In the end, I decided that I couldn't chance not recertifying.
The law says what info the state police shall request. Oddly enough, the law doesn't say anything about driver's license number, height, weight, or eye and hair color. I filled out the form (minus that info) and it's being dropped off tonight on my way home from work. I guess I thumbed my nose at their database a little. We'll see what happens.
I debated about omitting the county of Issue, license number, and date of issue, but I have a feeling they wouldn't accept the form like that. It is what it is. People can recertify or not, however they choose. Everyone has to make what decision makes the most sense for their situation.

I did it this morning online. Not happy about it. Felt violated and dirty after. Like when you say something dirty during sex but after you finish up you feel ashamed of it. And I was both offended and triggered by the questions about sex and race. What if I identify as a multi racial dump truck? Where was that option? I really didn’t want to do it but I don’t want to give the gestapo any reason to mess with me. I’ve got too much depending on me. And I’m pretty sure that’s how they are getting a lot of the recerts. It isn't the same as someone who doesn't drive to the city and is legal in every way cruising in his or her hometown.
