How is a training class conducted?

I've been watching handgun training classes on Youtube and am curious if this is what to expect if I were to take on locally/

I have had great experiences with Ben of @OnSight Firearms Training.

Lot of factors.

What kind of class are we talking about.

Very basic NRA intro? Marksman ship? Force on force? Vehicle?

Sadly like many things it all depends on a lot of factors.

For the most part two instructors could teach the exact same class completely different.

cant go wrong with @OnSight Firearms Training or MDTS.
EDIT: I like both these guys because they encourage students to shoot their classes from their everyday carry setup. Dont get me wrong iv ran Ben's class from concealment and from a battle belt but i feel there is more to learn from using your everyday gear. You will find the weaknesses in your game and your gear.

I would also say that pay attention during the safety brief before the class, don't like what you hear? Leave. No safety brief? Definitely leave.
And see if there is any kind of Glock stomping histrionics or posturing. And leave if there is.

I've taken many classes with Chris Fry of MDTS and Dave Jenkins of Rochester Personal Defense. Both are well worth the time and price of admission.
