I still like to hear how it actually happened. A Glock will not go off unless the trigger is pressed. At least if it is in stock or near stock condition. I can't speak to any aftermarket triggers.

Yeah already posted, and If I remember correctly, many stated it was fake. Either way, if you're holstering your pistol anywhere IWB, you should really do a visual check. You don't just shove the gun in the general direction of the holster while it's chambered and hope for the best. There is also never a reason holstering needs to be done quickly. Pay attention and make sure there are no obstructions like your t-shirt or something in the way of the holster and trigger/trigger guard. There is no reason this should ever happen. If it's genuine, this guy simply fucked up pretty bad and he needs basic CCW training after his penis is sewed back together.
My best guess is leather holster, side folded over, stuck in trigger, bent over and pushed pistol down onto stuck leather, gun discharged.

This is one reason I went with the Springfield and the grip safety. I don’t need anymore holes in my body. I know I’m careful, but mistakes happen. I do not engage thebgeip safety while holstering the gun. I just press it in with my thumb on the back of the slide.
He was using a Gcode Incog holster and a Glock 43. Watch as he reholsters, he does check his undershirt to ensure his garment is clear of the holster. So the only thing i can think of by watching this 100x is that when he reholstered a piece of his shirt was caught between the holster and the trigger, when he bent over it bunched up causing enough pressure on the trigger to fire. This honestly could have happened if he was carrying at 3 or 5 oclock as well. If wearing an undergarment ensure your clothing is clear and you get the retentive click from your holster which tells you the holster seated properly.

I'm going by the fact that it's an old video with no follow-up, no news article about it, and the woman behind the counter nonchalantly walking to him with gloves and a tourniquet.
I wasn't sure if it was actually disproved or just disproved from some of the obvious.
So in answer to your question: we don't know that as a fact.

Yeah, I don't know. Being that appendix is a hot topic, I would think it would be followed up by those who have interest in it in the industry in high places. The lady walking up to him at her store was a giveaway for me. People just don't react like that in my experience. How did she know he needed a tourniquet? She went for that first rather than running to a phone in a panic first or running up to him first.
