it can go either way. 1984 is my favorite book because I believe it perfectly captures the capabilities of a destructive political machine. When you combine an ignorant population with tight control of information and knowledge of everything about the subjects you can dictate what they do. In an environment such as that hitting a critical mass of people who know what is going on and are willing to put their lives on the line seems to be an increasingly unlikely scenario. People are simple. The Berlin Wall was easy to understand. Nuanced control of the media, back room deals, winks and nods are hard for the proles to comprehend and lash out against. There is no physical manifestation of what enslaves them. When Hillary gets her open border and another 20m people with simple paths to citizenship the border no longer has meaning and it will be too late for a conservative movement...not unless it is a potentially violent one because political means to an end may not be possible at that point.I don't agree. I think we will see the constitution suffer but at the same time from that suffering will get
stronger. There are millions of people ready to defend liberty and most they do not know it yet.
Sometimes things just need to get bad, I mean really bad and that is the only way some learn.
Stupid? yes. but sometimes is the only way humans learn.
ps: No one single bullet was fired to take down the Berlin wall.
The whole thing just imploded by itself.
To the radicals I tell them one thing my mom used to say:
Be careful when you ram, because you might ram so hard that might end up ramming into
your own ass. LOL
