Howard Stern on Gun Control

I agree, but at this point, I will give anyone credit for not giving in to the gun confiscation insanity.

He has said on his show that he used to be anti-gun because he was ignorant on the issue.
Anti-gun can only exist because of ignorance.
On 9/11 I was in NJ just across the river from Manhattan in the Liberty City Park area doing work.
One of the guys working with us was from NYC.
On that morning my friend from WNY asked the guy from NYC, "is that normal?"
He was pointing at one of the towers which looked like it had smoke coming from it.
The NYC guy said, "umm, no, what the hell"
We didnt think too much of it but a few minutes later we saw the second plane hit.
Thats when we knew something was wrong.
Not knowing what else to do, we turned on the radio in our truck. The first radio station we came to was Howard Sterns show.
Howard was going ballistic.He and people on his show were screaming something about "towel heads" killing everyone.
He said we were under attack, he said grab a gun, find your family and protect them from the god damn "muzzies."
He was yelling about how the government wants to steal our guns while foreign terrorists are killing people
in our own country..
That was of course 2001.
I dont know his views on guns then but he was all for it in the moments after the attack when planes kept crashing and he thought maybe we were under siege.
That was the first and last time I heard his show. Never really had an interest in his brand of comedy.

We listened to that whole thing on the way home to Chautauqua Co.
Howard starts out calm, saying lets wait for details but quickly gets more intense.
He still is a Joke. His whole career has been made to mock make fun of or put down everything in sight. His voice never has or will have weight. The guy is a 6 ft 5 inch walking tool. And yes my dumb-ass used to like him when I was a k8id! So he made some sense during a crisis woooooowwww praise him not. The only reason satellite radio is so expensive is because of him. Why has he never run for office? I know your going to say he did, BUTTTTTTTT he did it as a joke he was never serious to be a man to stand up for the people he was just mocking the system.

That's kind of the point. Some people find that kind of humor entertaining.
I used to listen when he was on regular radio. Listening to stupid stuff made me forget how crappy my commute and job were.
