Nope, I have fedex and USPS come down my drive way all the time. I have people turn around in my drive. What happens is they don't stop drive through my garage and kill me? Should the gov have a light in my driveway to stop that from happening?
Maybe we should all wear helmets whenever we leave our house, just incase we trip over something and smack our head?
At least the helmet might actually do something. Where as everything is just false sense of security.
Also I have seen what happens when a traffic light is out, usually most people act civil and take turns

Not really accurate as it does not state on public or private land. And regardless if its a good idea, its just more gov intrusion.
Its baffling to me how people invite more gov control over their lives, there is nothing "extreme" about wanting less gov intrusion into how they live.
I wear an orange garment when I hunt or enter the woods during hunting season. I do not think it should be a law.
I also wear it when I snow blow my driveway. I don't think that should be a law, and I hope mentioning that I do wear it doesn't inspire a law!

Everyone I know would make sure to put bright colored blankets on their horses during deer season when they were in the pasture.
It was a good idea. If I'd followed my family into the "horse business" I would have too.
And depending on *where* I was, I would wear orange too, but some places, where access was well controlled, and you *knew* only trustworthy people were hunting I would not. (although we would generally avoid those areas during the season unless we were actually hunting, as a courtesy to the hunters).
I will never agree that anyone other than the landowner should be able to mandate it.
So, for the state, that means state land only.
