I agree with what you are saying. How can anyone not agree with that? What I don't agree with is turning in another citizen to the government because you don't agree with a law he broke. Meanwhile those that would turn him in (lots of members here) go around breaking other laws that they don't agree with. Magazine capacities, rifle features, carry in post offices, schools, cutting down trees on their property without proper permits, ECT.

Someone else may find those laws broken that some here think are okay not to be okay. And if they were ever caught breaking those laws, they'd want the person who has an issue with them to mind their own business.

With that said, deer aren't in danger at the moment of extinction like bald eagles are.

As long as you go into your choices knowing that being caught could result in punishment, there's no hypocrisy involved. For example if I was to have ever ignored the private transer Safe act BS, I'd be doing it knowing that I'm taking a risk. Them's the breaks.

As far as the deer go , NYS don't own them , since when do they own all the wildlife? bad enough we have to pay them (homage) money to hunt the kings deer. fuck NYS . The recurring common denominator of a lot of our problems isn't the deer, it isn't the wildlife, it isn't the guns, its NYS.

Do hunters and anglers really know who spends their license dollars? Not according to a recent survey conducted by the country’s foremost public opinion firm specializing in hunting, fishing and outdoor issues.

A majority of the 2,125 respondents to a recent Internet-based poll incorrectly believed that some or all of their hunting and fishing license dollars go to the state treasury to be spent on things like roads and education.

The poll--though decidedly unscientific in nature--was conducted by Florida-based Southwick Associates on its AnglerSurvey.com and HunterSurvey.com Web sites. At the very least, it’s somewhat disconcerting to think that most hunters and anglers aren’t aware that laws specifically prohibit the use of license revenue for anything other than game and fish management.

Only 39 percent of responding anglers and 47 percent of hunters knew that 100 percent of all license dollars go to the state fish and wildlife agency. A total of 68 percent of anglers and hunters thought a portion of their license dollars goes into the state's general fund.

100% of all dollars in a state budget are fungible.

That means saying that x dollar goes to cause y is impossible.

Lottery money goes to education ? Nope, every lottery dollar that goes to education frees up another dollar in the general fund that would have gone to education if not for the lottery. It works the exact same way for every other budget item.

Well of course, they, the government of NYS does not own the deer, BUT, by claiming such, they (the government of NYS), also claim that their agents, in the form of Environmental Conservation Officers can enter your property anytime they want, WITHOUT A WARRANT!!!!!!!
See how that works out for them, and if you fight it you will be up against the full weight of your tax dollars, whose coffers are renewed every year with your money. What constitution, what fucking country is this.
