Following @NYGuns lead about buying handguns.....but mine is cooler than his!

Played with it today. Maybe i should shoot the november postal match with it.

32ACP. I like the look of the curved 32 mags. The 380 and 9mm have straight mags. I dont like the look so i went with the original in 32. I will buy the threaded barrel top for suppressors next.

The target was rotated in portrait orientation when i shot it. (19 rounds) The cluster is 2.5 inches. The additional 2 that i probably pulled make it a 3 inch group.

I was shooting a bit “fast”.....for fun.



It is fun. The 20 round mags does not wanna feed the last round. I will look into it. The 10 works fine. I only tried PPU.

I will SBR it i think. I will build a machine pistol with one as well....just for fun.



It is only slightly bigger than a glock 17.

Bullet Guy is an evil evil man. He twisted my arm really hard and forced me to get one of these as well. Worst of all I now have to SBR it. I really didn't want to do anymore NFA stuff since they made it difficult and I can't just add it to my trust anymore online. I won't be able to make mine a machine pistol but at least I have one with a threaded barrel on it. In yo face Bullet Guy!

Ha ha ha. I gave up the threaded barrel for the stock!

Why cant you add it to your trust? Other than finger prints dor trust members, it Should be no different that lat year.

Set up a new trust with only your name on it. Then it is easy. After you add all your items... THEN add other trusties.

Btw. I have a trust in pa as well. The name is: “in lead”.

So the engravings will read: “in lead we trust” on my form 1 stuff.

It used to be fill out a form online and wait. Now there's a bunch of legwork. Anyway, it shoots really well I see. I told you it would be fun Mine should be in on Friday. I think I'm going to fabricate something to be able to put a pistol buffer tube on it and a blade so it will be more stable against my "cheek". And the threaded barrel will be used to put goodies on it obviously.

Thats a real scorpion? Those are very cool guns. I shot one once, it was an early model chambered in .32. Depsite what anyone's opinions of the .32 may be that cartridge works very well in the diminutive scopion in full auto operation, very controllable.

I don't think the 16" semi auto versions do anything a 5.56 carbine won't.
SBR'd it regains a little utility. But the real point of the thing is to provide lightweight, very compact, highly controllable full auto fire at 100 or so yards. In otherwords it offers little to civilians beyond novelty.
Now as a former vehicle born troop had I been given a choice of small arm I would have chosen the P90.

I live in NC now, I can have the 50 round mags, and the normal barrel after I get it stamped.

The ps90 is an awesoem weapon. 50 rounds and the mag weighs 1 pound. Thatbin itself makes it better than an ar for qcb.

I beat most of the field of my local 3 gun running one using the original black circle sight.

Sbr it for sure.

I shot a deer with mine. 40gr blue tips. Put the same hole aize as a 230gr 45 outta my 1911. Same day kill. Same distance.

The nice thing about the p90 is that like the 300blk when you shorten the barrel the velocity loss is inconsequential. That is probably my next thing after this scorpion. And then have to sbr I see bullet guy already got the mounting bracket. It looks great. I sent the 2 videos above to bullet guy a little while back. Forgotten weapons always does a great job showcasing guns. A machine pistol that can be shot one handed full auto and still be controllable is awesome!

ETA: The vz61 in 32acp with a fully loaded 20 round mag weighs 48 ounces. With the 10 round mag it will be well under the 50oz limit. So go ahead and let Bullet Guy twist your arm into getting one.

Right. These also come in 9mm, 9mm Makarov and 380. All reports I've read is that anything not in 32ACP doesn't shoot as smoothly. I thought about getting the 9mm Mak to match my Makarov but I don't really like having multiple guns with the same caliber. Especially for a "fun gun". The only exception I've made to that rule is the Tokarev and pps43. On the collectors side I'd want 32acp for the scorpion anyway.

Ah yes. How quickly one forgets when they move and suddenly sky's the limit. The way it breaks down is very conducive to a fixed mag as well. When I get mine maybe I'll see if I can come up with a way to make it a fixed mag.
