Here we go again. Regardless of the term I placed in the auction description, when I relisted the Marlin yesterday, that no one without at least a 95% positive feedback rating on GunBroker could bid, yet another bidder with zero feedback has placed a bid. If this one does not pay, I will see if I can take legal action to at least make him squirm. Of course, this could be a legitimate bid made by a legitimate bidder with every intention of actually paying if his bid is the high one. The auction closes in 5 days, so another week and a half to two weeks should tell about that. Keeping my fingers crossed on this one.
By the way, the guy who had the high bid the second time this rifle was listed, and then declined to complete the transaction just like the first guy, got additional feedback on GunBroker. Remember he is the one who told me he changed his mind and would buy a rifle in 270 instead. Well just look at the feedback he got after bidding on a 270:
A consistent arsehat is he!
I don't think you can block a bidder once a bid is placed. I have a few bidders blocked but as I understand once a bid is made it is binding on me to sell it unless the bidder does not pay or otherwise violates my terms. GunBroker just told me, maybe a day or two ago, there is no way to block a bidder (such as one with zero feedback) preemptively but I will try to remember to check into what you said. Thanks. You can block bidders as they bid. I just saw it. Just blvok them or cancel theor bids
