Also if you look around (gun shows) local shops may have surplus '06 as well.

Not sure where you are at these days (or ever tbh) but Rochester is having a show soon, may find some cases of 06

Actually the Garand and M14 are extremely south paw friendly. They are far easier for a south paw to operate then those old boring righties.

When they built the Garands, teachers were still expected to beat the left-handedness out of you before you were old enough to get drafted.

Got hit in the head with the clip LOL and some brass. I can shoot both right and left but I’m more comfortable with left.
