I used the box, the clip I bought and the clip you gave me. Ran through fine. I was scared to be honest!PPU , S&B & American eagle all make Garand specific loads.
Did you pop off the box you bought or just the milsurp enblock?

Been there, planned on stopping by again.Tim's in Elbridge had surplus ammo . Haven't been there in a while though. but they had plenty.
Merry Christmas to you too! Thinking of bringing her to the rod and gun club to zeroMerry Christmas Soldier. Now don’t go shooting your eye out or picking up bad habits shooting this gun. Shoot it just like the Army taught you.
If I can get one in .30-06 then yes but I don’t think they do thatWon't be long.....you'll be wanting an M1A. It's inevitable, ask me how I know.
No but 7.62x51 is an excellent cartridge. In fact many an M1 have been re chambered to .308 and those who have them, love them. I still love my M1 in its original chamber.... but prefer an M1A. Ammo is cheaper and more common. If I can get one in .30-06 then yes but I don’t think they do that
It always is the same price when I’m at stores. I shot the M1A once, I want to say 2 years ago, I don’t remember the experience but I know the person had a almost pistol grip stock (but NYS complaint does they can’t count it was a pistol grip) so you can wrap your hand around the stock. We have an archangel for our mosin and roger 22 love the arch angel on the 22That's a JAE chassis. Expensive and made for bench rest shooting. Never intended to be for compliant issues. Just worked out that way.
Edit: An Archangle same comment though. Not as favorable as the JAE.
