Idiots at the game lands shooting range.

I am up at my place in Lake Ariel for the weekend and decided to go to the SGL 300 shooting range in Archbald.

I was in the handgun section 10 yards covering up the bullet holes on my splatter target when the line was called cold. All of a sudden this moron in his late 50's starts shooting.

I flipped the fuck out and two other guys started to yell at the moron. I don't know how the hell people could be so careless. It was a few lanes down from me but its fucking ridiculous. One bad pulled shot to the left and I would have been fucked.

Not a game warden in sight when you need one to deal with that moron.

Don't forget the morons who watched him set up, load and start firing. I make it clear to anyone not going forward to stay back from the line and do not let anyone walk up, set up or pack up while the range is cold.

Yep. I use a private hunting club. Great ranges. It is a little expensive to initially join but you get experienced shooters joining who know range safety.

It would've been my suggestion to make a "lasting impression" on him for his carelessness. Sometimes future safety is about present lessons.

Something similar happened to me once years ago. I wasn't in much actual danger since I was at one end of the line and the idiot was at the opposite end but still.
I reported the incident to the club house and the idiot was permanently banned from the place.
