If you use needle nose pliers to get the roll pins started, you can wrap the jaws in masking tape to prevent damaging the lower if you slip.

DS15 full rifle or just the lower?
I got a complete DS-15, I really loved it once I held one in my hand. I got the Typhoon model in FDE
Build your lower buy your upper you'll thank us in the morning. My 14 yr old son built his own.
That's exactly what I'm doing. Unfortunately, Stag has a 4-6 week build time for uppers so I'm sitting around feverishly checking my email for a shipping confirmation. DSI has an 8-10 week build time for my complete so I'm waiting on 2.

Update: Still nothing from DSI (still a few weeks), went to my bud's house to build my lower last night for the second rifle. Parts kit was missing 4 parts, sigh (trigger pin, hammer pin, bolt catch buffer and takedown spring). Hopefully South Shore will hook me up since that's where I bought the lower kit (WWE kit).

Oh , I was just giving you a hard time. You definitely sent me the part before charging me to make sure it was good enough (which it was). I just want to pay you so it's not in the back of my mind, I hate owing money. Zero complaints on my end, for anyone lurking.
FTR guy at South Shore was visibly angry at me for telling him the $80 lower kit he sold me was missing parts. Clearly thought I was full of shit, like I need to lie about $2 parts. Ah well, it IS time to drink!
