Convince me how the increase in automobile insurance is not directly related to illegals. Illegals don't need documentation to obtain a NYS drivers licence. Illegals don't need a Social Security number to conduct transactions on which you are suppose to pay taxes on. How do DMV fees get waived for illegals? Who's picking up the tab, if you guessed the NYS tax payer, I'd bet your right. An illegal can get their road test, waived and not pay for a drivers licence. Don't know how you go about get insurance with no address or register a vehicle. But this seems to be the case for them.
How many illegals are on our roads, with no drivers knowledge, insurance, registered or inspected vehicles? How many accidents have illegals been involved in, where the person who's done everything right will be put on the hook?

They should, but it's not going to happen. If you had a customer already "happily" paying a rate would you cut your profit? Probably not, and neither will they - they say: "Ooooh a safe driver, more money for us!". The only way to get a lower rate is to switch insurance companies, which is why people do it so often. They will however use the info to raise your rates. It's like talking to police - Anything you do can be used against you, but not to help you.

Where did you hear about this? I haven't heard about illegals being allowed to drive without a driving test, license, and insurance.

I wouldn't expect an insurance company to lower my rates. I would expect not to have my rates increased with out reason. If I don't have any claims, tickets etc. allowing a fair increase seems reasonable. Considering the price of everything is on the rise.

Thank you for bringing it to my attention. I took a look on the DMV website and there's more to it. They aren't allowed to drive without passing a test legally. Even so, I'm sure there are those that abuse it. I'm sure there are citizens that drive without a license as well. But I understand your point. Link is below if you're interested.

Someone that goes above and beyond taking care of themselves in so many ways is paying for the diabetes treatment of the obese lazy POS that can barely get themselves off a couch.

Come on now, you are twisting the meaning and purpose of that license. I have a "not for federal purposes" license, not because I am illegal, but because I refuse to get an REAL ID for flying.

I know I'm twisting it, but only because NY is twisting it to give a license to drive to people who are criminals.
I denied getting the REAL ID license as long as I could, but when they required it for domestic flights I needed to get it (at the time I did not have a vehicle capable of driving cross country).
It is NY that is betraying those who refuse to get the REAL ID license by aiding criminal activity. innocent people, like yourself, will eventually suffer for it whether or not other States start refusing to honor it.
