Seems like the best thing for "pistols" that cannot use a true vertical foregrip.
If'n I ever get that ACE pistol I'd put this on there.

I like. Would be good on an SBR or 16" OAL with muzzle fixture as well I'd think.

Gun like that? You need to take some care that your hand doesn't move in front of the muzzle and there isn't a whole lot to hang onto to be begin with. You could hold onto the magazine well, especially on the ACE since the housing is extended but you have better control the farther out you hold. A vertical grip is the traditional solution but since our nonsensical laws forbid this without a lot of bureaucratic foofarah this seems a good alternative. And actually this one in particular looks like it really locks the support hand in very securely. It may even be better than a vertical grip. Nice thing about the ACE is that round handguard is actually the sections of pic rail covers so I can simply remove them and directly attach this.

Doesnt look bad, but I'm still a big fan of just the hand stop
I want more than that on a stubby barreled "pistol". Also keep in mind you can't really C clamp an ACE too well.
