Most of our armed citizens may not be as highly trained as Elite military forces , but we certainly far outnumber them. Not to mention that we would have the mindset of a cornered animal and we all know that a cornered animal is far more dangerous and your average animal.

Edit: my statement above says most armed citizens are not as highly trained as Elite military forces, but we have a huge population of highly trained current and former military and law enforcement along with a highly-trained segment of the civilian population.

Whether it's merely propaganda as a joke or if they are serious I don't know.

I saw this story reported elsewhere.

It is concerning that they are saying this because I tend to think it is an accurate statement that They will follow through on. They aren't saying troop strength, or objectives etc...

My fear is they are going to sneak in a few hundred of their best troops to basically act as organized sleeper cells and wait for the opportune moment to conduct assassinations, attacks on soft targets think (malls during Christmas time) (sporting events) attacks inflicting mass casualties (radiological, chemical) and attacks on the power grid.

Europe may be screwed if they really "sneak" (walk) a few thousand of them over their open borders.

Clearly the Iranian intent wouldn't be to conquer or invade us with a few hundred troops but they sure could cause problems.

Yes..but our side can only load 10 rounds at a time with semi auto long guns.....they'll have full auto and 30 round mags..we're screwed except for the high rollers and politicians who have bodyguards with the same armament as an advisory....We all must stay law abiding deplorable citizens
