Honestly, I first assumed this was supposed to be a joke... and now I'm uncertain.. but, even operating under the prospect that it's not as joke, I'm still a bit confused by it. Even after a bit of Googling, I find it partially unclear in what forms AOL might still exist.

Nope, not a joke. Yup, I'm still on AOL, can't find a need to change. Still can't bring up this site. Re booted, cleared history, defragged, checked parental controls, VPN.....

To be fair I didn't know AOL was still around either. Is it called AOL in other countries?

Anyway, no ideas on how to help - site is occasionally slow for me as well, I just multitask while I wait. Right now there are 200 people online (79 members, the rest GUESTS) so it could just be popularity.

Is it possible your VPN is the issue?

I doubt this website will slowdown because of soccer in Qatar, but the NSA morning shift running their weekend downloads and back ups of the BAR soft porn does swallow up our bandwidth and heats up the server
