Similarly, calling this an attack by palestinians is disingenuous. This was an attack by muslims who happen to live in Palestine. We're going to find out that it was planned, funded, carried out and supported by all the muslim governments in the area.

Based on the lack of military response , I highly doubt it was a failure on the part of Israeli intelligence. Its to big not to notice something was up. And Israels intelligence is 1st rate. I know I will get flamed for it, but I believe they turned a blind eye to the attack because it gives them justification for an all out war against the Palestinians. similar to what happened with Pearl harbor . Whos going to cry about the Palestinians now? And it might even bring the US into the mix if Iran does anything stupid . Qui bono?

This would have been a well played move on the part of the Israelis, allow the attack , finish off Hamas . Now they have have every right to punish them .

Consider we had a national emergency broadcast a few days ago, just in case things got out of hand

Interesting take. I hadn't considered that but to them the ends may justify the means.

Not sure what's more likely that a very highly regarded Intel group missed an utterly massive attack on the anniversary of a war, or they sorta knew something would happen and it would give them caseous beli for their goal.

Regardless Hamas and Hezbollah are savage animals that need to be eradicated.

Has anyone been watching the price of oil the past week? The price per bbl has gone down $10 or about 11%. I bet when the commodity markets open Sun nite the price will go right back up. Iran and OPEC stand to benefit. Israel will not. It does seem like great timing though. The war in Ukraine is coming to a close and the defense industry needs a new war to keep those profit numbers up.

That is some weapons grade cynicism. If true I suspect it will come out sooner or later. And that will tear that country apart.
