I don't think either side in that mess is without blame, but I'm certainty not pro-Palestinian.

Israel has demonstrated repeatedly that they are willing to F-over the US to benefit themselves. However, since they're not burning US flags in the streets shouting 'death to America', I tend to favor them in the conflict.

Why would anyone support either group? They are all in it for themselves alone and many expect to be bailed out by the US and/or UN or in some cases Russia.

I say next time someone starts something over there we make sure we have none of our soldiers there and bring em home. Let them sort out their own mess.

The moral issues of right and wrong supersede my like or dislike for a people or country. I wont take the side of Israel because she is my country's ally, or because of anything in the past . I dont side with her because she is more like us and the Palestinians are not. The scales of justice are blind, it cares not who your friend or foe is. An event needs to be weighed independent of who I like or dislike. Ill take the side of Russia in certain events and others I defend us and vice versa. I try not to play favorites . what are the facts, who did what and why . When we went to war with Germany it wasn't because we didn't like the German people. It was because we disagreed with the politics and actions of her government.

Now, I can really care less about the Palestinians myself. I have no love for the crazy Muslims either. but what I do care about is justice or fair play, even against my own country . I do have issues with the government of Israel itself.

I thought this discussion was going well, why are some trying to shut it down.

I actually learned somethings about the 6 day war that I didn't know before. Like how Russia incorrectly told Egypt that Israel was about to attack Syria.

I have to correct this popular misconception about WWII. We went to war with Germany, because Hitler declared war on the United States 4 days after Pearl Harbor. He initiated it, we had no choice.

Ok. You win. Give Jerusalem back and the rest of Israel to the Palestinians. Let them run it to the ground. Afterwards those that are happy can take vacations there.

The Crown Plaza would be better served with Abdul Hussain Arafat as hotel manager. It'll be a beautiful beach after they get it.

Why do you think I love Palistinians? They are just as much scum sucking morons as the Israelis.

Jerusalem should be a sovereign city like the Vatican. The Arabs, Jews and Christians have been fighting over it for ages. It shouldn't be under the control of any one of the religions of the book.

We pretty much hated all of our enemies. Redcoats, Gooks, Kraus, Japs are not exactly the terms of endearment. Many survivors of Pearl Harbor refused to buy anything made in Japan until the day they died. However in the example you cited this was a moot point.

Our troops never fought in any of Israel's wars. Israel offered to help us in Desert Storm, we said "NO".

Israel takes enough antisemitic flack defending their own homeland from annihilation. I can't imagine them playing a role of policeman of the world. They did help by taking in Vietnamese refugees we abandoned. Your last question shows your lack of knowledge of Israel's history.

Sorry ,That's not an ally by any standard. Even the Japanese sent a token force , They could have at least send medical personnel or supply personnel or something. From What Im told ,they are the best troops in the world ! and they didn't send a card.

Weve taken in Vietnamese ,Syrian and Iraqi refugees after we bombed them , so what? Your bias towards Israel is obvious. Let me see them take in thousands of Syrian refugees like Europe did

Just how does the US benefit from being military Allies with them? We pay for their military and they wont fight next to our guys , Nice deal that is . and until last year We never even had a base in Israel, until they needed more air defence and They put an air defense base there , on our dime of course. But I don't see any benefit from it.
