I doubt it in this court system. The law from day one has been obscure enough so it should been ruled unconditional. The only way this will go away is a successful challenge in SCOTUS. It's looking better with the current administration and some of the court cases that are working their way up the system. Personally I doubt we will se real relief for at least 4 years.

Besides the 4th Circuit, what cases are left? And we all know Obama's judges will overturn the pro-gun ruling en banc there.

I like the stock, but not with the rest of it. Would rather have it on my SCR. I like the variant of the SCR receiver (JJ had to have licensed the design from FightLite, as it is identical, other than the bling lines.) It is to the SCR as some billet AR lowers are to forged AR lowers.

As for the ported barrel, the bill says:
"A FLASH SUPPRESSOR, MUZZLE BREAK, MUZZLE COMPENSATOR, OR THREADED BARREL DESIGNED TO ACCOMMODATE A FLASH SUPPRESSOR, MUZZLE BREAK, OR MUZZLE COMPENSATOR;"

It does not say "muzzle device" or that it has to be a separate component. I wouldn't want to have to argue in court that ports at the muzzle end of the barrel, which are designed to counteract ("compensate for") muzzle climb due to recoil, do not constitute an integral muzzle compensator.

Other than the fact that the Ares SCR seems to be impossible to get? (I already own one but the fact that FightLite can't seem to say when they will be producing more is not exactly confidence inspiring.)

I just got done looking at the FightLite website, they have finally posted "SCR is in production with our Distributors and Dealers expected to have the new models arriving shortly. Thanks for your interest ", but no other details. Just the same message over and over.
