I recently had to go through the sexual harassment training at work. Shit like "But it was never my intention to cause discomfort" doesn't matter.
If you tell a joke, it doesn't matter if you intended to offend them or not, it's the standard of a rational person taking offense. Stand too close? Doesn't matter if you intended to violate their personal space, you did.
One of the examples was a guy standing about 6" behind a seated woman, and reaching over her to point at something.... Sound familiar? He didn't even have to sniff her hair to make it sexual harassment if he did it again after being told not to.
They hammered on the point that INTENT DOESN'T MATTER, over and over.
If you walk up behind someone, put your hands on their shoulders and sniff their hair, that damn well falls into the "rational observer" of crossing the line between saying "Hello", and a sexually implicit action.

If the left had any standards, he would have been booted a LONG time ago, but they don't, so he will say give a mea culpa, and hope it goes down the memory hole.

Personally, if he pulled half the shit they have on camera with my kids, it would have been a swift, and unquestionable response to the acceptability of his actions.

I have almost no doubt he did this because I've seen videos of him doing it. Nobody should be entertain a he said vs she said. I mean hell even if she made it up, we have seen videos of him literally doing precisely what she accused him of with other people. It's all over youtube, has been for fucking years.
