It's increasingly clear Trump has no idea what he's doing.

For the record I'm still glad he won, but he's certainly doing a pretty bad job right now. He fires people left and right, and he doesn't even have his super majority because he keeps making enemies. I wonder if this morning/last night's vote in which mccain voted no would have gone differently if he wasn't picking fights, for example.

Scarramochi seems like a magnificently terrible person for the job (even his wife agrees--she filed for divorce today), and now priebus out as well. Plus he's been badmouthing Sessions on twitter. Next week who will it be...

I agree 100%, but here is my current thought:

Fuck it. Seriously. Sure, he has no clue on it, but if "the people with clues " got us here, I don't want them.

I'd personally watch a hunk of dog shit rotate on a record player instead of having anyone that " knows what they are doing " tell me what is up.

I disagree.

Look at what he's been dealing with. Half of the Republicans are Democrats in drag. All the assholes who were full bore for repealing Obummercare couldn't bring themselves to pull the plug on the insurance, pharmaceutical and medical lobby's gravy train. All the bible-humpers who 15 years ago would have burned gays at the stake if they could get away with it are coming out of the woodwork for LGBTAEIOU-whateverthefuck. The left are Socialist-Communists and the right are Leftists. And the thing they all have in common is that they don't want the boat rocked. They don't want ag subsidies messed with. They don't want medicare to negotiate rates with big pharma. They don't want term limits. They don't want the corrupt system of lobbyists messed with. And they don't want the taxpayers teet pulled from their mouths.

Trump has threatened to upset the applecart and the rest of the establishment is scared. His own team is trying to undermine him with leaks from within the Whitehouse. The Dems have been gathering and making up dirt on him for two years before the election. I'm amazed he's been able to get done as much as he has. And now he's finally putting together his team - loyalists who will get the job done and won't stab him in the back - instead of the band of compromise misfits - he started with. I have no doubt Priebus will later be shown to be the source of some of the leaks from the Whitehouse. And although I liked Spicer, I have a feeling he will turn out to have been dirty too.

Yeah, that or just maybe Trump has the entire Goddamned entrenched establishment against him. You can't seriously expect that someone who wins office on the promise of draining the swamp is going to have a smooth ride. His enemies are everywhere around him. He didn't win the presidency because he didn't know what he was doing. Remember that.
