July 2018 Target Challenge

50 yard Pistol Caliber Carbine

QuarterCircle10 AR 9mm (Glock mag) with Burris FastFire III red dot.
50 yards; bipod on bench (standing).
124 grain Speer Lawman 9mm.

Let this be a lesson to me, check zero before starting any competition. I never did check this gun after dicking around in the rain on 7/4.

I guess I could've shot another target but I felt like that would be cheating. I think I score all of... 7? I was joking above about just needin to hit the paper to win...

I printed off 20 targets for the match. The winning target came somewhere in the middle.
I also shot my AR for the match. Although the AR was much easier to hold steady off hand the magnification of the ACOG on the Ace vs the Red Dot on the AR is what made the difference. I was able to immediately spot my hits and aim at specific areas on the cards.

I considered doing the 100 yard match but I figured I wouldn't be able to discern the beer bottles at all with only 3.5x magnification.

I have not touched my guns in over 8 weeks. I am ready to scare a target with serous volumes of threatening lead and copper.

The 10 yard rimfire is a standard catagory, I don't put the catagory in the leader board until someone shoots it.

Cool, I went out to shoot the 200 yard rifle challenge last week and my printer died so I could not print the target. I would have needed some luck to win that this month tho.

No I am working with limited equipment, the select, copy, cut, paste and delete have to be done twice sometimes. The post was just a place holder so it would be easier to post official results tomorrow.
