Honestly not sure why they let this go on. If you or I painted slogans in the street (defacing public property, also arguably making the roadway less safe by covering lane markings, etc.) we'd be charged, and rightly so.

The natives are restless tonight. I took a bike ride on to the bike path about 900 , I saw a group of about 35 - 40 people , partying , I didnt think much about it . just collage kids haveing fun , whatever. When I got back home I realized that tonight is a protest night and they were probably meeting up there to discuss thier plans for tonight and have a few drinks, I went back about 1030 , and only about 4 people were there. I assume they met up there before taking the train down town . Things are definitely active tonight.
