I’m loaded up and ready to go. Just organized the gun safe and ammo cabinet. All defense type weapons are loaded with mags around and chambers open for safety. All pistols are loaded and ready to go. Tearing down guns and mags as we speak to make sure no dust or dirt particles interfere with proper operation.

Of course I hope and pray they just pass on by or don’t come to my city. I’m not far off the main drag and my house is a statement house so I think I’m a target, not as big of a target as target but you know.
Also just heard another loud bang southwest of me. Sounded like a gun shot. Heard three earlier around l 4 pm north west of me that sounded like gunshots earlier too. I was outside and I’m 99% sure the earlier ones were gun shots!!

I seriously doubt that people are going to pick your house to kick the door down and when they do and the first gets shot, they will continue to come in endless waves where your fixed mag which shouldn’t even be regulated as a home defense gun will run out empty, your pistol as well, and ever subsequent magazine for that pistol.

Try to have a little bit of humor. I just got my pistol on me and an extra mag because that's what I have every day. Yes these aren't hardened criminals and once the first one gets blasted the rest will scatter.

A friend's son is a Sgt with CPD. Former USMC Iraq. Big guy. He use to tote the shoulder fired missles. I've seen him shoot. He's good. He's not gotten fat coming back to civilian life.

Well you are correct about one shot is all it would take. Fantasy's? This could be about as real as it gets that we'll see at home. This is an actual shtf moment, not hypothetical.
