Yeah it’s pretty sad they are not reporting on this. I saw national news and essentially said there was violence and fires but didn’t show them. Showed everything that the cops did wrong and said they will be investigated. A few of the cops were morons and should be.

No, there is some disagreement.

Personally I don't see anything that makes it illegal per se, but plenty of people insist that you will be charged with a "catch all" crime like disturbing the peace or something.

I imagine it depends on the circumstances.

Certainly there are plenty of places where it would elicit a call to 911 and a response from officers.

How that goes likely depends on what officers respond and where you are.

Pretty sure id take my chances. Not illegal specifically in penal law. Dis Con would require (forget exact wording) unreasonable or doing something which serves no legit purpose. That would not be the case in these times. It's just a violation (ticket) anyway.
