are the death of the party. They cannot win a general election on that platform. They might even lose the house again. If after the dust settles the democrats move back to the center and give up their vote losing gun control agenda I can go back to not caring about politics.

Be careful what you wish for. I don't agree with one iota of what these fools say. However, there is an ever increasing number of idiots in this country who think that open borders, more gun control, "social justice" and "free" stuff is just nifty.
Ah.... Increasingly vocal yes. However it has become clear that centrists and independent voters recoil in disgust at such things. Trump's election is proof if this as will his reelection. I'd put....... oh about $5 on the Republicans regaining the House in 2020 as well.
