Personally, I think hanging an image of the president or putting an image of him in a guillotine is in poor taste. All of our rights have costs, and the cost of the 1A is sometimes people do offensive things with it. However I still think the right is well worth the cost.

Lafayette Square is a public park. As a public place the public has a right to exercise it's 1A rights there. Last time I checked there is no limit on how long you can protest something.
I'm an absolutist when it comes protecting ALL citizen rights regardless if I agree with them or not.

Absolutely correct. But many of those that are rioting and looting don't see that. They've been raised in a victim hood mentality, and are constantly looking for someone to blame for their troubles, instead of rolling up their sleeves and working to make a better life for themselves and their families.

Your correct, but there are limits to free speech too. Threating violence against a head of state while your outside his door is a problem.
those threating violence are known to also made good on their threats of violence and that is a direct threat to the president.
This isn't a statement. This is a threat. One is actionable, and the other isnt.
The fact there there will be thousands of violent rioters at the white house during the election Is a concern for the secret service and the country. threats made to forcibly remove him from the Whitehouse and overt action to gather a group to do it are a serious concern.
