Keep my AR9 or sell and get the Ruger PCC?

I used to transport my AR in a tennis racket bag. The same bag now transports the Ruger. Just get a new bag. It's much cheaper and really isn't all that larger than the smallest bag. It's just a matter of inches.

But then I don't get to build a new gun...

Why not? Get the PCC for the bag you have now, and buy a new bag for the AR. Need to make sure you can carry both at any given moment. That's what I would do. And then one for an AR pistol. Gotta have every option available, you know, to match your shoes and stuff.

I've even paid for firearms from relatives, and endured the transfer hassles, just to prevent the firearms from leaving the family. After all...never know when we might need them but can no longer get them.

That is typically my mantra as well. The only time I sell/trade a gun is to buy another gun.

Not enough to fir in a backpack. I have a 5.11 rush 72 and it's just an inch or two too long to fit an AR upper in it. The PCC is short enough that you can fit the whole thing in there.

A couple $100 it could.
